Introducing one of our quality local woods: Pecan 🌳
Grown in the southernmost region of the United States, pecan wood is a close relative of hickory. Its sturdiness and character make it a great medium for crafting hardwood furniture.
With a lifespan of 300 years or more, pecan trees are rooted in an enormous amount of history. For generations, our own families have enjoyed swinging from their branches and snacking on pecans in our backyards.
It is natural to find family memories etched in the grain of resilient pecan wood. Its swirling colors, deep lines, and subtle wear show the many stories it has been a part of, and remind us of those yet to come.
