It’s been a while! I have had a very full & challenging year. I’ve not been able to work on furniture for the past year due to some big life changes.

But…I am about 75% done with this desk and the owner has been incredibly patient with me. I promised to have to done last week…then the humidity 🫠 set it. Thankfully the weather is much more conducive to paint drying 😊

Hello! It’s been sooooo long! I’ve missed this page!!

I’m sure you noticed I’ve been MIA for what feels like forever. I’ve had a few life events happen that have prevented me from working on furniture.

First, my house flooded last September. We are still in thr remodel process. My whole house has been packed up and in storage since it happened. It’s been a struggle 😩.

Second, I started working full time. It has been and still is a struggle to manage working full time, manage a family with 3 people that have autism and manage my health among other things. 😵‍💫

So…my niece said to me “I need that nightstand”…the one I started this time last year 🫣. Thankfully she has been patient with me.

I was able to finish it fairly quickly for her. I added a few critters in the drawers for her as I know she will appreciate the oddness of them 😝.

Enjoy this pretty little nightstand. It is to match the dresser I made for her last year.

I missed painting so much. Finishing this nightstand made me realize I need to reprioritize some things in my life. Painting definitely needs to be brought back in!

Hey Everyone!

I am going to be selling majority of my dressers I have in my garage. I will continue to do commission pieces!! I just really want room to park in my garage this winter 🥶

Happy Tuesday! Jennifer Rau-Nelson reached out and asked if I could freshen up her dresser. It is the cutest thing! She had converted the top drawer into a storage cubby already and I loved the idea.

I’ve included the before pic and her inspiration pic. My lighting is bad tonight, so I included the pic with the top drawer from off so you can really see the antiquing on the navy blue best.
