I haven’t posted any photos for awhile, and I will catch up at some point, but this Bourbon room we finished up this week is definitely a favorite! Plus, their home is such a nice environment to work in, and we feel blessed to call them friends. The room was color-drenched in Hale Navy, flat walls and ceiling, satin for the built-in and board and batten. Dark walnut stained top. Now they are just waiting for the table to finish it off!

We needed to come up with a solution to “raise” the height of a half-wall where the kids play. It opened into an open stairway and with a toddler that loves to climb, it presented a real concern. We love the design of this because it is unique, but also because the panels can be removed easily if they want to go back to the half wall, one day.
