It’s been a BIG DAY in the mattress recycling business! We were proud to participate in America Recycles Day at both the Franklin Avenue and Lone Pine recycling centers in Springfield (SGF Environmental Services). Then we manned our lovely vendor’s booth at the Springfield Apartment and Housing Association’s Awards Banquet. We’re proud to be new members of the SAHA! Thank you to Barbara Lucks and all the BedHead supporters for their help!

Come see us Saturday for Recycling RendeZoo at Dickerson Park Zoo! Discounted admission with plastic recycleables! (Don't bring your mattress to the zoo... there are other ways to get those to us, including our new spot at the North Franklin Avenue recycling center!)

Need to get rid of that old mattress? The City of Springfield has expanded mattress recycling collection services to its Franklin Avenue Recycling Center location at 731 N. Franklin Avenue.

Mattress recycling is offered for a $15 fee per piece, regardless of size. Items must be clean, dry and not infested.

We’re proud to now be accepting drop-offs at the Franklin Ave. recycling center in Springfield (731 N. Franklin Ave.) in addition to Lone Pine. If you bought or ordered a new mattress over Labor Day weekend, we’ll take the old mattress and box springs off your hands and recycle it (disassembly example in video) for a $15 disposal fee per item. Reduce clutter and keep bulky, flammable materials out of our landfill. Win win!

Note: Our pickup service, which is typically available on Tuesdays, is moving to Mondays during the months of June and July. Find the most convenient way to recycle your mattresses, box springs or carpet pad with us!

Did you buy a new mattress this weekend? Remember you can recycle your old mattresses with us at the City of Springfield’s Lone Pine recycling center or the Springfield landfill! We’re getting about a bin a week, which is keeping bulky, harmful mattresses out of our landfill. Keep up the good work and keep spreading the word!

Just in time for spring cleaning, we're thrilled to announce that starting March 23 we will be accepting mattress and box spring drop-offs at TWO locations in the Springfield area, thanks to a partnership with the City of Springfield, MO - Connect with SGF!

Our goal in recycling mattresses and box springs is to provide a responsible alternative for disposing of unwanted mattresses.
