A CHILD WITH CLUB FEET:
There was a lad who him there to be healed, so he asked them to take him to get dome shoes, but his mother reminded him that with club feet he could not wear shoes, He stated but when I’m prayed for I can. They got the shoes and when he was prayed for he opened the box and put the shoes on. He had trust in God so he put his trust in Him.
I read about the pastor tha asked the church to meet him in an open field to pray for rain, but when the people got there he dismissed the meeting t he dismissed them because no one brought an umbrella. They were willing to pray for rain but had no trust that God was going to answer in a positive way.
Mark 11:24 (KJV)
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Did Jesus mean what He said here or was He just talking to kill time or fill space? Trust will cause us to take those words literally just as if He was talking to you personally.
TRUST GETS THE JOB DONE:

Romans 8:27-28 (KJV)

Psalm 28:7 (KJV)
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
PRAYER:
Thank you Father for making your word plain and simple so that I know that when I trust in you that is the time for me to start giving you thanks and will continue until I see the truth of what you have said in your word. I rust you to fulfill every word I read in the bible.

WHERE YOU’R HELP COMES FROM
By Tobin Ifi
London, England
Devotion 7-22-19
Psalm 25:1-8
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
A lady almost throw herself on to a train track, according to her, ‘I am depressed and worried over my situation, I have looked around for help, but none came to my aid, I wonder when and where will my help come from?’

There is no one on earth without worries, or situations that seems so difficult to solve. Yet the wild animals and plants worry not.

The flower plants blossom during the summer with beautiful colours and saints of flowers, while it fades during autumn, and probably dries off during winter.

In the next summer, it blossoms again. It goes like this in a circle of sessions without the help of man. However it is the word of God that gives it life, Genesis 1:11-12.

Our lives pattern can also be likened to the flower to an extent. We have sessions of various situations or challenges, and times when we are so free without anything to worry about.

In the times of trouble who then can we turn up to?

Many of us have been disappointed by those whom we trusted and had hoped on, for help. However, we must know that they are not our helper.

In today’s Bible reading, Psalms 121 says it all about where our help should come from.

I will lift up mine eyes –

"Shall I lift up mine eyes to the hills? Whence should my help come?"

The expression would properly denote a condition where there was danger; when no help or aid was visible; and when the eyes were turned to the quarter from which help might be expected to come. What the danger was cannot now be ascertained.

Unto the hills - the mountains. To the quarter from where I look for assistance. This (has been shown in the Introduction) may refer:

(1) to the mountains from where one in danger expected help; or
(2) to heaven, considered as high, and as the abode of God; or
(3) to the hills on which Jerusalem was built, as the place where God dwelt, and from where aid was expected.

The third of these is the most probable. The first would be applicable to a state of war only, and the second is forced and unnatural. Adopting the third interpretation, the language is natural, and makes it proper to be used at all times, since it indicates a proper looking to God as He manifests Himself to people, particularly in the church.
There is only one place to turn to, for help. No matter how difficult our situations may be:
Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these.
He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. Isaiah 40:26.
It is God who is in heavens; He created all things and gave man Knowledge to conquer the earth and all that is in it. He will surely make a way, if only we trust and obey Him.
Father Lord thank You for Your son, my Lord Jesus Christ, for He is with me and He is doing so much that I cannot comprehend.

Heavenly Father, I bless Your name for the opportunity to see this new day in the Month of July 2019.

Every second ahead of me is unknown to me, however, I know that I am serving a living God that lives forever and knows it all.

This fact is my strength and my joy.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Amen.

I trust and believe that You are my helper Lord Jesus, give me the strength to always wait on You for help, knowing that You will provide answers to my situations, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Father Lord I present before You, Frances Odogwu and Amy, as well as the entire family members of Egolum, they have all made various prayer request, and we all in one voice, call upon You and do believe in faith, that You have heard and answered all their request through Your Son, our Kind and Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Heavenly Father, let Your will entwine with theirs and, all the glory and honour will be given to You and You alone, Amen.

BLESS YOURSELF WITH THE WORDS OF GOD

I am beautifully and wonderfully created by Abba Father, God of all gods.
I will continue to have life and life in abundances, according to the will of God, Amen.
I will continue to be in good health, no matter what life throws at me, Amen.

The goodness, grace and love of God will never depart from me, in this life and the life beyond, Amen.

I will continue to seek God in every aspect of my life first and He will not relent to direct my path, Amen.

All that I dream and desire of, are entwine with the perfect will of God concerning my life, and so, they shall all come to pass in my favour, Amen.

My heavenly Father will continue to protect me and my family, as well as friends, each seconds of the day from the uncertainties of this life, Amen

DOUBTING OR QUESTIONING PREVENTS FAITH
By Dr Jack Hetzel

Fear is a form of faith, but the person who is afraid has faith in the wrong thing. Many times our minds might say: “You know you do not believe this.” Or “That is not for you.” Maybe: “God did not really mean that for you.” When you have questions like this, those thoughts need to be replaced by the word of God.
This pastor has practiced this for at least 66 years and it has taken him to many parts of the world preaching the truth of God’s words and it has brought many miracles with me.
James 1:2-8 (NKJV)
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not is a double-minded man, unstable in all that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he his ways.
Do not allow your thoughts or feelings to take place of truth, as when we actually know the truth of
God’s word down deep in our spirit, we will not allow anything to take our faith away from us. Our mind is set and nothing can change that because we not only know the truth, but we know the Arthur of the truth.

PROVE YOUR FAITH
JAMES 2

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

THE BEST EVIDENCE OF CHRISTIANITY

This is one of the greatest discourses in the whole of the NT. It looks like James is speaking against the rest of the NT, but he is confirming it.
In verse 14, James asks two questions; the answers to these questions are that if we have faith and we do not illustrate that faith, it is worthless. First, let me say that all that is needed for salvation is Faith alone by Grace alone in Christ alone, but the true evidence of that faith, will outflow in what a person does and says.
James gives a wonderful illustration in verses 15-16. He has already given a wonderful one in chapter 2:1-5. The apostle John builds on this in Chapter 3 and verses 17-18 of his first epistle, when he says:
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
What both John and James are saying is this, if you hear at church, that a brother/sister is in need and have the resources to service that need, but don't do anything.. then your faith is worthless. Whats the point! If you don't show it, you talk about loving your brethren, but God isn't interested in your mere talk, He's interested in your walk.

The Apostle Paul says many times, that our faith will work itself out in acts of love.

DEVINE PROTECTION
By Dr Jack Hetzel

God promises to look after those who put their trust in Him and cannot lie. When we rely on our heavenly Father, He is always there to look after us and bring us ultimately to victory.

Numbers 23:19 (KJV)
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

In life there may come situations where it appears that we are surrounded by the enemy, we have but one need and that is to place full trust in the Lord.

2 Chronicles 16:8-9 (KJV)
Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand. For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

No matter how bad things in life may seem to be, God is always there to bring us tovictory.

Psalm 34:6-7 (KJV)
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

As true believers, our Father is watching over us. He will never let us down because we do not lean to our own understanding but trust in Him and He will bring us to victory.
Psalm 91:1-4 (KJV)
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalm 125:1-2 (KJV)
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

Zechariah 2:5 (KJV)
For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
