Oak & Laurel Workshop is moving! Not far-just down Main Street, but an exciting move nonetheless. Thankful for the past 5 years at Pepperell Mill Campus, and happy to have more space in Biddeford. BIDDEFORD — The purchase of 366 Main St. in Biddeford will more than double the space available to the fine furniture and architectural carving company Oak & Laurel, as well as make the company and its products more visible to the public eye.

New curved railings for chancel steps at First Parish UU Church in Waltham, MA. Made to exactly match existing railings and details and appears original. Completed in Sept 2017.

Here's a really fun and challenging commission from last month. A tiger head carving in mahogany to be mounted on the center of a custom headboard being made by Masterpiece Woodworks, Inc. and designed by Dell Mitchell Architects in Boston.

Here's a project from earlier this year. Trimmed this doorway and soffit to exactly match the details on the rest of the home, a beautiful mid 19th C. Greek Revival farmhouse in North Andover, MA. It was all made of PVC board, no wood.

Why do we humans find classical design so beautiful? Working on a big farm table! Top will be 10' x 3'. It's being made for my in-laws from a big white pine tree that fell on their property in Machias, ME in a storm a few years ago.
