A huge congratulations to Delaney 🎉🥳 completing her apprenticeship and officially becoming a carpenter!

When Delaney arrived at our door she was no stranger to the jobsites with a background in commercial insulation. She was committed though to learning the trade of carpentry from the ground up.

Her dedication and determination are admirable and we are so impressed and grateful to have her on the team!! Here’s to bright future in an industry that you belong in🩷💜💙🩵💚🧡

Delaney has also chosen to generously share her story and perspective many times over the years, undoubtedly paving the way for others to join her in the industry. Thank you for all you do Delaney, we’re lucky to have you on the team 😊🤗

“Our goal is to expand participation in youth sports by reducing income barriers to participation and providing year-round opportunities that open up the outdoors for kids living in our region,” Wade Kavanaugh, the Mica Project’s Founder shares.

The addition of the home base for programming means local schools are able to collect in one place, train together and have reliable access to one of the state’s best Nordic and mountain biking locations.

As part of our Community Project Program, Maine Passive House supports the planning and construction of mission aligned projects with donated hours and a significantly reduced rate on construction.

We still need a few more dollars to bring this project across the finish line - if you or your company is looking for a good place to give back, consider sharing or chipping in! All donations are tax deductible.

This week and every week, we celebrate the gender diversity that makes our team strong.

It’s not just a corporate post once a year. It’s a genuine commitment to opening doors; teaching Pre Apprentice and Apprentice students; sharing stories; giving visual representation to women who are both excelling at work and have a safe environment to do so.

It’s a shared commitment by your entire sub pool, crews and company leadership that cultivating a better work environment for everyone is an achievable goal.

Don’t just build better buildings.
Build a company made for a world we all want to be part of.

A 35’ curtain wall of windows provides breathtaking views of the Western Mountains, while deep insulation keeps the occupants toasty warm in winter months. To top it off - quite literally - this home sits atop a 70’ cliff, and the feeling from the third floor nest is truly extraordinary.

A wall of glazing in need of replacement is an easy opportunity for improved building performance; triple pane windows minimize heat loss in winter and make use of solar gains.

This Ski Chalet near Sunday River was built by the client’s grandfather in the 60’s. What began as an unfinished basement remodel transformed into a calculated and targeted retrofit; preserving original charm and improving efficiency while upgrading the kitchen, bedroom closets, and adding a new entry and deck.

Thinking through the details of building revitalization is what we do. What is the right level of disruption - what can we keep? What would make a big difference to the feel and experience of the building? Maybe it’s a coat of paint in one place and improved windows in another.

Our goal is always efficiency - from a financial perspective and experiential standpoint - during the build and for years to come.
