Fixing veneer peeling from water damage. Used my air hose to get the glue further under and nailed blocks with wax paper under to flatten until glue dries.

This chair for Betsy is one that I have done the best so far.
I made the binding (left) one piece wrap from the middle back all the way around and plugged the hole at the start/finish line.
Also, all the knots (top right) I tied on the bottom were nearly flawless!

Had to make a stretcher for each of these rod back side chairs circa early 1800’s for Danny. These are family heirlooms for him. I touched up all the paint too around the bamboo turnings. Coated with shellac.

Recently finished job for Karen. Both seat and back re-caned. Wood steel wool-ed with 000 and then shellacked with a couple coats of Garnet. The cane was treated with Boiled Lindseed Oil(BLO).

Fixed this English roll top tambour for Sandy last week. Gave the case a good shellacking and fixed some of the drawers and glued some loose casing. Heavy yet rewarding job!
It’s for her husband’s office, replacing a heavier, newer desk. Good to go with some classic taste I must say!
