Hey what’s up everybody!! It’s been a long winter but it looks like we are finally getting some consistently warmer which means the shop is cleaned up and ready to go. Hello again everybody!! I’d like to apologize for the lack of content but just want to let everyone know that there will be more great projects coming shortly that I hope you will all enjoy. I was having some back issues so I had to take it easy for a while but I’m feeling much better now and ready to get back in the workshop again. Here’s another project just completed here transforming the other half of the pair of old tv stands into a useful and decorative piece of home furniture. This piece was painted using Valspar Paint chalky finish and the color is called morning coat. The whole this was then sealed with a coat of polycrylic and sealing wax for a smooth protective finish

Here’s a before and after picture of an old entertainment center that we just refinished using valspar woolen stockings(grey) chalk paint with some light distressing. Many more projects in the works with the May schedule filling up quickly so message today if you’re interested in having something of yours refinished or if you are looking for a piece of furniture to have redone. Here’s a dining room table and set of chairs that I just refinished for my cousin Megan. This set had seen better days before arriving at our shop but I think came out great in the end. I love the detail in the chairs! The top was painted using chalk paint by valspar And is a woolen stockings color. The base is also valspar chalk paint and the color is called kids gloves. Lastly the chairs were done in a color called frosty using a furniture paint. All of this was sealed for protection so the family may enjoy many years of use at their new vacation trailer. Here’s some before and after pictures of a dining room table that we just refinished. Stripped down the old stain and painted the base in kids gloves valspar chalk paint. The top was also done with valspar chalk paint woolen stockings color the sealed with a polycrylic by minwax for great lasting protection without discoloring any of the paint. Here’s a dresser that I just finished for s couple friends. This was going to be thrown out and replaced with a new store bought one for the newest addition to their family. As this was once the fathers when he was a kid his wife gave me the honor of refinishing it to match the nursery decor so here’s a few pictures of the before and after. Now once this crazy weather calms down it’s onto the next project which is a table and chair set. It’s been a while since anything has been posted since we just had a baby and the weather has been horrific but here’s the finished product of the armoire that was posted a while ago. You can see just how far this piece has come since it arrived here. We were very pleased with the end result and so was the owner. This piece of furniture is now ready to be continued to be handed down to the next generation

Here’s a couple of pictures of an armoire currently being worked on, all the chipped veneer is stripped off and the broken leg has been fixed. Today all the final sanding will be done and ready to be painted before it heads out the door later this week.
