Hello everyone my name is Robert Phelps, the founder and owner of Phelps Furniture and Restoration. I started out this venture by buying a piece of furniture that looked like it belonged more on a curb than in a home but in the process of fixing it and painting it realized that not only did I really enjoy the whole process but that I was skilled at it also. After showing pictures of the before and after I had some friends and family come to me with pieces they needed refinished also. After seeing how pleased everyone was with their "like new" furniture I decided that it was time to expand outside of my circle and provide this service on a larger scale. I always treat every project like it is going to be in my own home and do not take shortcuts just to turn a piece around and get paid. This is something I take a lot of pride in and I love seeing someones face when they see that their once destined for the dump piece of furniture is now a show piece for their household. I want to thank everyone who has supported the growth of this venture and all of my future customers for allowing me the opportunity to work with them
