Most of you know this already, and we’ve tried to reach out to our regular customers, but please check your roofs from the ground or contact us if you have concerns about roof damages. Things to look for are missing, broken, or raised shingles. Finding out you’ve had a roofing system failure in the next rain storm will turn a bad problem into a worse one. Anyone that you’d want to trust to work on your house is going to be busy right now, but they should be able to help you get dried in (to prevent further damages) and get you on their schedule for repairs or replacement. If any of our clients need help with their roofs, or generator back up systems (too late for this outage, but not for the next one), feel free to reach out.

Fun project we got to work on with some friends. Screen porch to outdoor room conversion. Been awhile since we posted a project, I always seem to forget to take pictures… I’ll try to do better. In the mean time, check this out 🙂

We have one position available for an apprentice interested in learning more about the building trades. For this position well rounded experience is not necessary, but an ability to listen carefully and follow instructions is crucial. Prior work experience with some sort of manual labor is a plus, and reliable transportation is a must. This should be viewed as a longer term position, not a transient job. It Is a major time commitment to train a “new” employee, so please only apply for this position if you’re looking for a longer term placement.

Another position exist for a more skilled tradesman who would ideally have at least one more specialized skill-set in either (trim carpentry, drywall finishing, plumbing, hvac, masonry, finish painting, or one of the other building trades)

We do ground up remodel work, so being well rounded is a must. We believe that building is about more than being really good at one trade-- but striving to understand how the various trades work together and layer to create the finished product. A term that gets thrown around a lot these days is "Maker" and that's what we strive to have each of our employees become-- a "maker" of great things.

If you're the kind of person that is driven by the end product and takes pride in finish work, wants to be a part of a company that's striving to make something better than the "standard", but you don't mind pulling out rotten wood, digging a ditch, or carrying a toilet during demo so long as its getting you closer to that finished product. If you want to do the best work that you possibly can, every single day-- then this job is probably a great fit.

Following instructions is important, so the first part of this interview will be your application. There will be a series of questions/ instructions-- please take your time and answer them to the best of your ability.

Look forward to hearing from you!

-Mike
