Button tufting. There are many ways to do it… and a lot of not so great ways that these days pass for button tufting. They all have their place.

What you see below is the real deal where the button holds the pleat in place. No staples, no sewing, no cheats. And it’s vinyl. Ugh! But it’s coming along nicely!! I’m excited to see the entire project finished.

This project is for my friends at Restoration & Decor in Carterville. Check them out! They are amazing at their craft!

Twins! These well-loved pieces are going home tmro. Stripped to their frames and built back with quality goods and techniques to last another generation. We added welting around the Outside wings, Top outside backs and the Bottom edges for a finished refined look. We also includeded arm and head covers.

Been working on 2 of these… the before pic looks like a decent enough piece as far as padding goes… right?

Well I have been busy.. how about you?? 😁

Here's the finished blue velvet piece I promised way back when... The fabric is a handpainted design on a very lush imported Italian velvet. Such a joy to work with this kind of quality. Each nailhead set by hand. Can you find the seams onteh outside back??

Good Morning Folks!!! I know you were expecting a finished Rembrandt… but matching without making bad cuts is verrryyyy time consuming. Good news, I have just enough fabric!!!! Bad news- it’s not finished yet…. But here’s a couple sneak peeks! Oh, and did I mention this piece gets a over 900 deco nails?? Oh yeah….
