New project looking to SELL

Just refinished an old cedar chest. The history of this chest states it came from over seas during the Korean War and was passed down through the family. Unfortunately, that’s where it has stopped.
When my husband and I stopped to pick it up, the family informed us of the story and stated that they had no real use for the chest anymore and wanted to get rid of it. Kind of sad knowing it was such a big part of the family and it was now being thrown out. How times have changed.

I have refinished it in hopes to bring it back to its glory. Hopefully someone can enjoy it as much as I have refinishing it.

It’s a fairly large cedar chest, 47” wide x 20” high, I have placed black felt on the inside of the chest - - $575.00 obo

My husband built it and I finished it! I think it turned out great!

What a story this table could give if it could talk! 150 year old barn wood! Between being painted, nailed into, had ropes hanging from it to holding barn yard animals in and to holding tractors.

What an opportunity to turn something not so pretty to its glory! Imperfect to perfect in my opinion!
