What I have dubbed as "the F O R D rocker" (found on roadside dead) is underway & coming together rather nicely...
I was watching the new show "Wet Hot American Summer" on Net Flicks & seen this very same (style) rocker in one of the episodes... When I'm done with it, it won't look like it use to, I had to take it completely apart, fix the broken pieces, strip the old finish, sand it & replace all of the doweling pegs.
I'm gonna put a leather seat & back on this one. More photos to come.

I have located a wood that is very close to the look of the "Red Bay Laurel" that was used in the Remote Un-locking Weapons Storing Coffee Table build, it is called "Sapele" & is close to the same price as Red Bay....

To all those folks that are messaging me asking about my remote unlocking coffee table/ gun cabinet -
Yes I will make them to sell, however ...... these are not cheap, each one is custom made & takes well over a month of working alone to build one. The materials that go into making these are costly, they can range from $2,500.00 & up to $4,000.00 +/- depending on what wood is chosen & how personal you would like one made i.e. - deer antler, snake skin, lighting, buck skin or leather, being padded or not, etc, etc..... Almost an endless amount of possibilities...

Got the stairs (2 steps, really) to the bedroom made. I made them to hold a drawer in each step, they are also spring loaded & have no pulls or finger holds to grab them to pull them out, I am using magnetic safety locks to keep the drawers closed & look as they are just plain old risers when closed. the use a the magnetic key to unlock them & the springs to push them open so they can be pulled out the rest of the way..
The 13" deep treads are made from quarter sawn Red Oak with just a clear finish...
The top step isn't mounted or secured yet, I need to wait until tomorrow after the treads are dry.
This camera sure does show the difference between real wood & the factory fake wood, by eye they look close in color..

The basic frame work is done on this 5 piece Live Edge Cherry Chair Set that are being made for the live Edge Cherry Table & Bench, made a month or so ago. There is a ton of handwork in each one of them, now I see why other people do not want to makes chairs!!
I have looked at many different styles of chairs, I can honestly say, "I have not seen any like this.............!"

More future projects, these slabs & planks are hard to come by, I got very lucky finding these.
I will be thinking of some special pieces to be made from these beauties.
