Another gorgeous dining set is in the Merc for sale!! This is an 8 seat set with a butterfly leaf that folds and stores underneath the table. It's painted in Cathedral, which is a dark gray with blue undertones. The pictures don't do the color any justice at all! This is a must see for sure!

Welcome to Be Still Creations!

With several people finding my page, I’d like to take a minute to tell a little about my small business!

My name is Jodi Still and I’m located in the beautiful small town of Bedford, IA. I am currently a stay at home mom for four year old twin girls and a two year old son. I’m also a member of the city council of Bedford, a bookkeeper for my brother’s business (Countryside Repair, also located in Bedford) and I babysit my niece four days a week. If that doesn’t make me busy enough, I also started this as my side hobby of “revitalizing” furniture. I actually call myself a furniture artist. What is revitalizing furniture artist, you ask? Well, do you have a beautiful dresser that’s got the best bones, but boy she’s ugly? I can paint that! Do you have an antique piece your grandparents left you but the leg is missing and it’s been painted 5 shades of who knows what? I can redo that! Do you want a new piece of furniture for your home but you hate the “new” furniture made of particle board? I’m here to help with that too! I fix things you see on the curb! Haha! I’m serious! Don’t think I’m too proud to dumpster dive, because I’m not! If the piece speaks to me, it’s gotta be mine!

I love to take something and make it beautiful again. I truly believe furniture isn’t made the way it used to be. There’s a reason why those pieces are still around! They still have life to give!

My husband Tyler also helps me on my projects. In the past year we’ve custom built four dining tables for customers. We use reclaimed lumber for those with that beautiful tight grain that isn’t found anymore with the new lumber. If you want character, charm,or a story...we’re here for you!
