The newest product from Smoke & Cedar. Handcrafted from planed western red cedar (not rough-sawn), these are assembled with non-toxic food grade glue and pin nails, and although they do not have a finish, they stand up well to repeated wet/dry cycles even if left out in the elements. They can be used as is for storage, sorting, and decorating, or can be a base for your project and be painted, stained, and decorated. These trays are sized to accept a standard 1020 plastic seedling tray (11-1/4” x 21-3/4” and are 2 5/8” deep on the inside). Our processes result in quite a bit of soft cedar shavings that make great pet bedding or mulch for potted plantings. We pack this tightly in 12 x 12 x 8 box ( it will easily overflow a 5 gallon bucket when fluffed) and offer it for $8 / box plus shipping. Helps keep bugs away, repels snakes, smells great, and is soft and gentle on young plants.
