Here’s the thing, friends…

We have decided to ‘try’ and finally make our house a home. If you know anything about us, you are well aware that line had no boundaries. We’re working on 37 pieces at once and have furniture stacked and scattered throughout the house taking up every nook and cranny our square footage had to offer. We’ve only made it as far as the living room. And, why would you care? Welp! No more “staging area” for photos of our finished pieces— until one is created in a more appropriate place. 🤣🤣

That being said, please know how deeply I wish I had better pictures of this 3-Piece Bedroom Set that’s Village.

Next, we’re tackling the dining room where I’ll lose my very favorite, very primary painting surface for littles- our kitchen table. Wish us luck and drop a comment if you need details for these MCM’s or the Tufted Wingback in literally perfect condition!

Pieces like this beautiful turn-of-the-century oak sideboard simply don't come along every day…

We had every intention of doing a paint wash on so you could still appreciate the striking grain pattern peaking through but once we got her home and all cleaned up, we couldn’t fathom it.

The incredible details are truly a testament to the quality of craftsmanship from an era when furniture was built to last generations. It features the original locking mechanisms and skeleton key that are fully functional. Our only credit on this one is the vintage inspired wallpaper.

Some weeks, we're filling the booth with statement pieces. And others, we're curating for the seekers.

The collectors who walk the aisles with a specific something in mind. The ones who know exactly what they're looking for—or won't know it until they see it.

We’re giving a nod to those curious wanderers this week Village. These aren't necessarily the pieces that stop everyone in their tracks. They're the pieces that make someone say, "I've been looking for one of these for years."

The best treasures rarely announce themselves. They wait patiently for the right person to find them.

IYKYK- If you don’t, it’s confession time..
. We've lived in the Dayton area for almost SIX years, and we can still count the number of local places we've tried on one hand. We don’t get out much. 😅

We love good food but finding good spots seems overwhelming when you start with Google.

Does anyone here have any recommendations?? The best brunch spot, the restaurant we have to try, your favorite hole in the wall, usual pizza place or the perfect burger??

We're making a list but also really want to find a little lunch spot for today if you can help a couple girls out!! 🙏
