We built this unit into an alcove that was not usable. We managed to give them six full-size drawers and doors with adjustable shelves for storage. The center unit doubles as a writing desk as well as a make up table with a lift up mirror for additional storage. This dining room table was constructed by us about 30 years ago. The top and three leafs are crotch mahogany , where handpicked. Surrounded by a black inlay of ebony wood with both a Makore and ribbon stripe mahogany wood for accent. The outer edge is a solid band of mahogany with a bull nose. For durability and a deep shiny finish we applied several coats of polyester resin to the top. After 30 years the table still looks brand new. We brought the table back to the shop to make some minor modifications that our client requested. This table is a family heirloom. This is another gorgeous unit designed by . This piece has custom brass stanchions made between shelves and brass inlaid into the doors. The coating on the wall unit is a gray polyurethane with an acrylic polyurethane top coat.

Another great design by Langsam and Rubin and staff. Developing and fabricating the Woodgrain company this wall system was made of Mikasa Ebony wood and a white polyester resin.We shopped the market looking for the veneer that met our criteria. A joint effort between the Woodgrain Company and Blake and Emily designs to fabricate this unique dining room table. Made of white oak, this table has been triple bleached with a custom mix stain and top coated with polyurethane. The table base is the shape of two matching “T” shaped sections.
