Im not a huge fan of the look of traditional bowties/butterflies but they definitely serve a purpose. This walnut cookie was dried too aggressively and as a result had some severe cracking and checking. I poured black epoxy to hold it together but I’ve seen wood separate from epoxy so I added a mechanical attachment to be safe. I Inlaid a brass bow tie and I’m psyched with the way it looks. A modern twist on a traditional technique.

Loving the blue with brass accents in this rec room. Beverage fridge, bar sink, solid oak top, custom brass and glass shelving. Movie night would be fun here!

Buffet and hutch fabricated to match the perimeter of the kitchen in this beautiful home in . Paint grade poplar construction with a pigmented conversion varnish finish. Taj Mahal quartzite, LEDs and glass to show off all the nice stemware.

Hello friends! Thanks for joining me on this journey. I thought it might be a good time to reintroduce myself and tell you all a bit more about myself.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada and moved to BC when I was 20 and never left...until I met my wife and moved to Colorado where I still reside with my family.
I’m a woodworker + furniture maker/designer specializing in wood and steel fabrication. I love art and music and am passionate about mountain biking, snowboarding, surfing and skate skiing.
This pic was taken by my good friend for for a marketing campaign promoting their new colorways a few years back. Andrew pitched them on featuring women and minority owned small business owners to highlight real people doing real things. No models and nothing contrived looking. Thanks Andrew. Honored to be a part of this.

Mizu (Water) - A Moment in Time

I tried to capture the soft fluidity of water and encapsulate it in wood. This piece was donated to the 10x10 Fundraiser for in Basalt, CO. This annual event is always a fun opportunity for me to experiment and make something new and exciting.

That beautiful summer evening light making the sign I fabricated for look extra golden. Waterjet cut aluminum logo on stand-offs over a welded aluminum structure all powder coated. This was a fun project. Made for the coolest cocktail bar ever. Thanks to El Dorado for giving me creative freedom and supporting local makers!

I designed and built this aquarium cabinetry for a client with terminal cancer. His one wish was to get this finished before he passed. I’m honored to be a part of making someone’s final wish a reality. I pushed and was able to finish this with enough time for him to enjoy it for a few months. RIP B.A. F* #€ Cancer!! 📸

Organization is key when you have 2 kids and all the toys to enjoy living here in the mountains of Colorado. We designed this mudroom built-in with a solid white oak bench for putting on your shoes, drawers beneath so you can open them with a light touch, avoiding the need of any pulls or k***s that can snag your pants. Sliding white oak doors on hardware to hide the hooks with all their coats, vests, leashes and packs. Hanging rods on bith sides hidden behind tall doors and ample storage above for all their seasonal items that get cycled in and out throughout the year. Cubbies with wicker baskets for mitts, hats etc. All finished with this beautiful sage green that the client chose.

We planted 3375 trees to offset the impact of this project.
