North Forest Woodworking, LLC I am James Zielke, Owner of North Forest Woodworking, LLC, I have been involved with building my entire life! I furthered my knowledge of the building code.

Growing up I worked with my father, from early childhood into adulthood. From this experience I grew in my knowledge of construction and developed my skills as a Builder. While working with my father, we specialized in residential, commercial and roadway/bridge construction. Moving forward, I, owned and operated Cardinal Development for 6 years. Building Custom and Speculation homes were our speci

alty; we also built decks, additions and offered remodeling services. During this time, I served as Director for our Local Home Builders Association. For 5 years I was a Building Inspector/Building Official. During this time, I helped automate the building permit system and bring the building department expectations to a higher level. I served on the Code Official Conference of Michigan Board as a Director and as a Director for Region V of International Code Council. I enjoyed code enforcement; but felt that my true interest was in designing & building. In 2005, Zielke Homes & Improvement, LLC was started. Building homes, additions, remodeling, window replacements, and cabinet installations were our areas of focus. Through time my reputation for quality craftsmanship grew; that encouraged me to take the next step in growing my business! In 2008, I built a Home Improvement Store and Showroom, located at 10107 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman, Michigan; Doors opened on September 20, 2008! I served the community for 18 years and had the opportunity to sell the property in 2023. In 2023, I created North Forest Woodworking, LLC. In the last year, I have expanded my woodshop and included a sawmill and kiln. I have been acquiring trees, milling the wood, and preparing to dry the wood, and am looking forward to using my creative skills to design and offer hand crafted home decor and furnishings. I will also offer milled hardwoods such as oak, cherry, hickory, maple for purchase. God has blessed me with successful business opportunities in the past and I am sure that He will continue to do this. I am looking forward to serving and creating new relationships with you! This slab was sourced locally, sawn, kiln dried, surfaced by cnc, sanded and finish by North Forest Woodworking.

This table measured 60” in length, average depth is 13” and height is 29.5”. Costs of tables always depends on wood used. This table cost was $750.00.
