I have dreamed about Inside both awake and asleep for many years and now it is a reality. It is simply a store where I have collected some of my favorite found and new objects and arranged them as I would in a home. A store where you can browse rooms of storied finds, one-of-kind objects, locally designed and made furniture, rescued art, art created in the mid-Atlantic region, unique indoor plants

and garden supplies, useful and beautiful objects. Below are a few words which describe the ideas and principles
which guide my decisions. Recycled, Upcycled, Incycled, simple, soulful, storied, magical, modern, vintage, next, mid-century, beautiful, and affordable. Come visit my store and hear the stories and see the magic.

Hello INSIDERS. Guess who just stopped in the shop- the adorable Nate Berkus- he was shopping with a friend. He loved Toto and picked up a lovely bit of Mud cloth. I wasn't sure it was him but when I swiped his card I saw his name and I said "oh it is you"- he smiled. I just had put a copy of his book-"The Things That Matter" on the coffee table. He noticed and then gave me the sweetest kiss. OK OK that last bit might have a little white lie- but I did get a great handshake and another sweet sweet smile.

He went to the other antique row stores but only bought something at INSIDE. Come see me folks before the designers buy all the good things. Toto and I are waiting for your visit.
