A little help and encouragement, goes the longest way! We would also like to note that our head counselor this summer, Mr. Ben (orange Huck Finn shirt spotting the kids at the climbing wall) was once one of the 6 year old campers himself. He is a true example of the effect that this kind of support can have on a child’s confidence.

Today at WWII camp, Mr Quinten, our local Awendaw/McClellanville firefighter and level 2 government tracker, came to teach the campers how to search for a downed pilot, for the big mission they will have on Friday!

Sometimes the biggest lessons are the simplest.
Today the big kids got to show our youngest campers support as they visited the obstacle course. There’s no lesson that compares to encouraging, and helping others.

Alright campers, It’s a big week at Huck Finn School!! Let the 2026 summer camp season begin! We can’t wait to see yall!
Parents and guardians, please be on the lookout for our camp information and reminders email a few days before each camp begins. We will send one out to each group for every week, the Wednesday before each camp starts. This email will come through sawyer (our registration host), so if you have not saved sawyer as a contact, this email may go into “promotions” instead of primary mail. We don’t want anyone to miss it, so please be on the lookout!

We are excited to add another week of camps to the end of the summer, for rising middle school and high schoolers! This is a two and a half day camp, with the option to camp overnight. We will offer a woodworking and blacksmithing session, and a bow and arrow making session!

Hey Huck Finn family! Miss Jessy and Mr Q are so happy to announce the arrival of their daughter, our tiniest camper! You can catch Miss Jessy and little Presley in and out of camp this summer. Jessy will be back to responding to emails this week as well :) thank you for your patience!
