Boundary line work in the snow flurries today! There were many signs of the boundary being marked over the years. Besides the most recent blazes and paint I found barbed wire, fence posts and old flagging tape. It’s important to know where your property lines are. A quick freshening up with flagging tape, and a re-blazing and painting will save you aggravation and money down the road.

Baxter is my number one line hound.

We even found some chaga on a hophornbeam. Yes, that’s chaga. Hophornbeam is in the birch family.

In one place, a big Maine buck was trying to help with some blazing of the line 🤣
