Every woman has a doubt on her man even a bit. So did mine before marrying me.

“How Do I Know I Can Trust You?”

They always ask!

And even today, this question has not left me alone!!

I get that question more than people say out loud.

“Why you, Philip?”
“What makes you different from the others?”
“And how do I know you’re not just pushing me a shiny property from Dubai in the USA?”

So let me say this clearly:

Safety is boring
No car alarms, no stolen iPhones, no wallet-snatching drama.

Honestly?
I do the opposite of what most sales trainers recommend.

I don’t chase.

But you do need to know the rules better than most rich people do.

A few weeks ago, an American client came to me🤷
Great credit. Solid income. Had already bought property in Florida.

But when we walked through Dubai’s off-plan options, he froze 🥶

🤔“Do I need citizenship?”
🤔“Will I even get a visa?”
🤔“What if I can’t fly back and forth all the time?”

He wasn’t unsure about the property.
He was unsure about the system.

So we went line by line.
→ USD 540,000 million gets you a 10-year renewable visa.

It’s weird how a book from 1936 still has more signal than 90% of today’s content on leadership and persuasion.

I am currently reading How to Win Friends and Influence People.

One line that hit me:
“If you want to gather honey, don’t kick over the beehive.”

Basically, if your default mode is “brutal honesty,” don’t be shocked when people tune you out.

The older I get, the clearer it is:
Most people don’t need your opinion.
They need to feel heard.

That’s the doorway to trust.
And trust is the real unlock for influence.

Some scribbles from the margins so far:

– Praise only feels manipulative when it’s vague. Be specific.
– Listening is a power move. But remembering? That’s respect.
– Want someone to adopt your idea? Let them feel like they discovered it.

This isn’t about being soft.
It’s about being deliberate.

Most U.S. buyers are shocked when they realize what $300K actually buys here.

Let’s break it down:

🇺🇸 In Miami:
$300K might get you a small studio 20–30 minutes from the city center.
Probably no view. Likely needs updates.

🇬🇧 In London:
£250K? Maybe a tiny flat on the outskirts but far from the action.
Old buildings. Basic amenities.

🇸🇬 In Singapore:
Forget it.
You’re looking at a 350–400 sq. ft. shoebox on a 99-year leasehold if you’re lucky.

🇦🇪 In Dubai:
$300K = ~AED 1.1M.

With that budget, you can buy:
