I truly believe humanity is approaching just such transformation. The following is an excerpt from the book, The Immortality Key.

Perhaps the founder of the National Resources Defense Council, Gus Speth, said it best: “I used to think the top environmental problems facing the world were global warming, environmental degradation and eco-system collapse, and that we scientists could fix those problems with enough science. But I was wrong. The real problem is not those three items, but greed, selfishness and apathy. And for that we need a spiritual and cultural transformation. And we scientists don’t know how to do that.”

A recent post by a personal friend inspired the following response. I thought that some might need to hear it.

I worked like that for almost twenty years from 1980 to 1999. Usually 80+ hours a week, weekends, and holidays. I missed a lot of my kids growing up. It WAS NOT WORTH IT! But at the time I thought I didn't have a choice. I let people run over me, intimidate me, take advantage of my good nature, and so much more. I'm much older now and I've learned a few things; you always have a choice, never allow people to demean, intimidate or threaten you, always speak your truth, make certain you are valued, and, if for any reason, you are not happy then be willing to walk away forthwith. No job is worth the cost of your happiness and benefit. NOT ONE!

Ever go to put on a T-shirt and as your look through the bottom to pull it over your head you see a star field of light coming through? Eighty percent of my T-shirts look like they've been hit by a meteor shower. I've got to clean out my T-shirt drawer. Sheesh!

You know how the ice in your glass sticks together when you pour your drink in it? I don't know why it's taken me 65-years to realize if you pour a portion of your drink into the glass first and then add ice the ice won't stick. Then finish pouring the rest of your drink. Duh!!

I made this wizard staff quite some time ago. It's actually been close to, if not longer than, twenty years in the making. The branch came from a tree in my yard and stood in a corner of the house for twelve years drying. It's as hard as a rock.

I recently started using mini LEDs in my Fairy Houses and Doors. And I got a wild-hair today and decided to illuminate it.

No, it's not for sale. But I do have a, "I don't want to sell it," price.

If you can guess what that price is I'll give it to you.

Since the first week of April 2024 I've been working to restore the hardwood surround on a $50,000.00 dollar imported Italian marble bathtub for my client. And I'm proud, so very proud of myself, to say as of August 1st, 2024 it's finally finished!

My client has been waiting for two and a half years for his expensive bathtub to be fixed.

Here's why...

Out of over half-a-dozen craftsmen, one or two from far away, who looked at the work and declined, I was the only one to accept the challenge. Not even the manufacturer would touch it!

This was more than a challenge. I stepped out of my very comfortable zone and into the unknown.

A friend, neighbor, and fellow craftsman got me started. I was coached and guided along the way and we collaborated over crucial steps. But I did all of the work painstakingly modifying each piece, made several pieces from rough lumber, assembled, fastened, and did the finish work.

My client, exclaiming to the New York company who sold him the tub that "what seemed to be mission impossible" is finally finished! He is ecstatic.

Before and after photos below. Some during process, and the last one of the original design. My restoration looks almost the same! Well, perfect actually! Whoot!!
