The Artist: Marissa Kashani
Marissa Kashani is an Austin native and figurative oil painter. She has always been drawn to portraiture because it feels like each painting can tell a story without words. Painting figurative works of animals and people allows her the opportunity to explore emotion and storytelling when sometimes words alone can’t evoke the full depth of meaning.

The Design: Amy Hadley of Hey Now Interiors
Amy Hadley is the founder and principal designer at Hey Now Interiors, an Austin interior design firm known for its joyful use of color and clever space-solving. She and her team create spaces that solve problems and add function in order to inspire more joy, creativity, and connectedness in your home and in your life.

Another round of Art & Design at Louis Shanks Furniture is coming right up! Mark your calendars for a memorable evening with artist Marissa Kashani and interior design by Amy Hadley of Hey Now Interiors on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

This series pairs local and regional artists with designers to create a custom gallery in the showroom inside Louis Shanks Furniture. Art & Design shows the art to the viewer in a natural setting, as it might appear in a home or an office. We are so excited about this series and would love to invite you all out!
