It has a brand new very cold AC, a heater, a new queen size Sealy posturpedic mattress, an office area with very good wifi and a simple kitchen. The kitchen includes dishes and utensils, a fridge, sink, microwave, toaster oven, electric tea kettle and coffee maker. We've fixed up the old speaker system and added an amp, so you can play tunes from your laptop or plug in your ipod. There’s a grill a
nd picnic table right outside the door and some nice hammocks hanging in the shade trees. There's also a giant chiminea that you're welcome to use. We even have tons of wood to burn. I’ll stock some basic breakfast for you, and there’s a grocery store right down the street. All linens are included. We’re conveniently located about a mile east of downtown in the happening East Austin neighborhood. Very close to all the new east Austin bars (Justine's Brasserie, The Eastside Showroom, Rio Rita, Shangrila and many more) and about a five or ten minute bike ride to downtown. The airport is a short 10 minute drive away, and the 'Airport Flyer', (local bus to the airport) picks up and drops off right at the end of our street and costs $1.00. I may also be able to pick you up and/or drop you off depending on our schedules. We also own a pedicab company, so we can easily arrange rides for you, and we have lots of different bikes for you to use while you’re here. The bathroom is shared by me, my husband and our daughter and it's located in the main house.
