Edwood Studio is a custom furniture and architectural cabinetry studio that opened it's doors back in 2011.

We specialize in working with interior designers, architects, GC firms and residences throughout Austin, TX and the continental US. Located within Austin's bustling maker movement we conceptualize, design and build all of our furniture and aspire to craft not only function but an art form into every piece we make. Whether its a mid-century desk or charcuterie ware, we brand all of our products wit

Stoked to have our pieces we collaborated on with the talented featured in the latest The oval tapered solid white oak table base and top were finished out using a white washed oil finish and the swivel mirror was set in oak with a hand polished brass pole.

👋🏽folks. It’s been a minute since we posted here but sending out a friendly wave into the new year and a new post of some recently completed work for the new offices of . These three 9’x30” tables hold 34 drawers using 27” undermount tandem slides for extra deep and extra wide architectural sample storage for Sandy and her team. Lots of room to fill up all they hold behind their creative studio and minds! We love working with you and your team as always, Sandy! Best of luck and here’s to many projects for 22’!

Here’s a white oak table. With an intricate layout and a clean, simple and angley base for a little search engine company in their new Austin office. Swell mill and finish job with all hands on deck for this one using pure oil 2c. Missing the touches of our main man as of late.

We started out the new year hyped, anxious, excited and hopeful for what was to come post-2020. It’s been a hot freakin’ minute since we posted but alas maybe we’ll work backwards on our accomplishments. I miss the heck out of having around as he was the second backbone but we divided and conquered some amazing work together. It was the highlight of my woodworking career having him and his talent touch everything we took on. And hopefully one day soon an annex summer shop work sitch in Maine! We love and miss you and your family . Oh and this is a killer panel wall and library we built for our amazing clients Paula and Jess and their pup Henry who ran the show on site. Maple overload with a splash of dance party disco LED lights by , amazing company if you’re in the market for a turn key LED solution.

Looking back on our project from last year in building out the counter tops north on campus. This project was mesmerizing to say the least and holds a special place and time in my heart. I used to frequent CC west on Lamar before contemplating going full time with this wood gig. Great solo lunch spot. A place to get away from the downtown office life and envisioning this dichotomy. Lots of pieces (5000+). Many hours of milling, gluing, ripping, gluing once more, planing end grain, sanding and sealing it all up with several coats of varnish. We’re rooting for these guys and know they’ll pull through. Grab their burger or biscuits or pancakes, best in town hands down. ❤️ our foodie neighbors and their hard working staff. Mesquite digathon for that select grade provided by .
