We’re selling vintage midcentury modern and Danish modern at the Chicken Ranch in Warrenton/Round Top! On Highway 237 in the middle of Warrenton.

10/04/2026

Sorry…just couldn’t resist! We’re setting up shop during October in a 20 x 60’ tent here in Warrenton, Texas, just a few miles from Round Top. We’re bringing some midcentury modern furniture, some Danish oak pieces, original abstract art, vintage toys, Turkish rugs, Navajo and Mexican jewelry, and so much more. Come see us next weekend at the Chicken Ranch! Hwy. 237 in Warrenton.

10/03/2026

We’ve left the building…and we’re taking two 26’ truck loads of midcentury modern goods from jewelry to art to furniture to the Chicken Ranch in Round Top/Warrenton. We’ll have a big Danish oak credenza and bookshelves, silver and turquoise jewelry, lots of collectible vintage toys that we’ve been hoarding, some clothes and boots, collectible books and more.

🔴🔴The Chicken Ranch venue is part of the whole Round Top experience, but is located in Warrenton, a small town just past the small town of Round Top on Hwy. 237. The Chicken Ranch is at the south end of town, toward La Grange. You can’t miss it..it has a sign and a big chicken out front!

🟣🟣Other fields (venues) to visit in Warrenton include Excess I and II, Zapp Hall, Grannie McCormick’s, Northgate, Bar W, Tin Star, and Tree Park. We’re setting up now, so come shop early for the best deals. Add a comment if your field is in Warrenton and I haven’t included it.

🔵🔵Vendors in Warrenton are setting up and selling now, but to get the most out of your trip here and have the most vendors available, come next weekend (Oct. 10th). We’re not formal…if the tent is open and we’re there , come on in and get to shopping…

Uptown Modern is moving! Where? We don’t know yet…we’re still searching for a space, but in the meantime, we have back up plans! For the month of October we’ll be selling a portion of our inventory at Round Top (Chicken Ranch…blowing out things that we don’t want to store. In November we hope to be up and running selling our vintage midcentury modern and Danish furniture and accessories online through our website, Instagram and Facebook. Stay tuned for updates…

Thanks to all our amazing customers/friends for supporting us during our 19 years selling midcentury modern and Danish Modern furniture and decor on (or near) Burnet Rd.! That being said, WE’RE MOVING…NOT CLOSING. We just don’t have a new location yet.

We still have all our great inventory and we will be posting and selling online through messages and DMs for the time being. Our website is up to date (Instagram Highlights too), so you can find pictures and details. We’ll have delivery options as well as pick up options available from our storage warehouse for purchases.

October 5-31, find us at Round Top as we blow out some of our left over inventory. We found a large booth at the Chicken Ranch with a last-minute cancellation, and we grabbed it. The Chicken Ranch is the venue right across the street from Tin Star Field and Bar W field on Hwy. 237.

At Round Top we’ll have some things we’ve been hoarding over the past few years like vintage trains, collectible painted tin toy play sets, painted soldiers, vintage books, bags of legos, stamps, and some collectible Masonic memorabilia.

Of course, we’ll have a huge load of vintage jewelry, leftover upholstery fabric, original art, studio art pottery, sets of bar glasses (mainly Culver) and ice buckets, vintage children’s clothes, lamps and lighting, and smaller furniture pieces.

After Round Top, we’ll concentrate fully on our online selling while we continue the search for a retail location.

20% Off today and tomorrow on our midcentury modern and Danish Modern furniture and accessories. Snag this amazing bar cabinet or one of our long teak credenzas, a Scandinavian bent wood lounge chair or one of our impressive teak wall units.

After Sunday, we’ll be selling online through our posts. You can DM or message us for information and to purchase. We’ll have pick up and delivery options available. Our website and Instagram Highlights are up to date so you can check our inventory.

WE’RE MOVING, NOT CLOSING, pivoting to a different way of selling. We appreciate all of our customers and friends so much and look forward to seeing you soon!!

Uptown Modern shop midcentury modern and Danish Modern inventory is really thinning out now with 3 open days left at this location. We still haven’t found a new home, so we’re preparing to sell mainly online for a while. Tentatively that will look like…posting photos of what we have for sale on social media and communicating by DM to buy/sell. We’re working on more delivery options for buyers. Our website is updated, so check out our full inventory there, or access Instagram Highlights as another way to check out what we have in stock.

Uptown Modern at 1509 North is emptying out quickly…20% Off everything left (except clearance) through Sunday. We still have several midcentury modern vintage bookcase wall units and credenzas, some chairs and sofas too. There is still some pottery and jewelry, 6-7 Danish Modern credenzas and a good selection of rugs. Just 4 more days to shop at 1509 North St., our last day to be open for business is Sunday, September 20.

We’re going to be moving out of 1509 North St. from Sept. 20th through October 1 to temporary storage. Our plan is to sell through Instagram and FB Marketplace until we figure out where our next location and what our selling situation will be.

We are so thankful for all your support as we navigate this disruptive move! Keep following us and supporting us as we pivot to a new era of Uptown Modern, whatever form it takes. We appreciate you and your support so much. Just a reminder…we’re moving and pivoting, not going out of business.

Our last open day at 1509 North St. is Sunday, September 20. Come by now for 20% Off Storewide (except clearance). Business has been very good at 1509 North, but our landlord has other plans for the space and we must vacate.

After much consideration, we are pivoting and changing our business model to sell more online. We’ll be offering the same awesome furniture, art, rugs, pottery, and decor and posting vignettes of our inventory, but selling in a pared down space. We’re still working through the details, but after September 20, we’ll be selling through online posts for the time being.

We don’t have it all figured out, but we appreciate your ongoing support as we pivot and change.

🔴🔴20% Off Storewide, except clearance, through Sunday, September 20
