The Guarida Desk designed by Fernanda Canales

Wood, movement, and function come together in a piece design to adapt to everyday life. From its concealed storage to its extending surfaces and integrated elements, Guarida reveals a series of detail that become apparent through use.

Part of the Unfolding collection, the desk reflects Canales’ exploration of how furniture can encourage a closer, more tactile relationship between people and their surroundings.

Before BOT became a sculptural lounge chair, it began with a conversation.

In collaboration with OMET, architect Michel Rojkind, Founder + Lead Architect of Rojkind Arquitectos and Lorena Vieyra, OMETS Founder + Creative Director, explored the possibilities of form, material, and transformation through sketches and shared ideas.

These drawings offer a glimpse into the creative process behind BOT, a piece rooted in reimagining what a material can become and giving it a new chapter.
