Had a great weekend in Tryon at Borderline Dressage, despite drenching downpours and sweltering heat. Borealis won every class even though it was only his second time out at 2nd level. Rubixx and Laura Plyler also held their won in the 1rst level classes, earning a personal best of 69.8%!! A good end to the 2014 season. Looking forward to continuing the fun in 2015!

Day two went just as smoothly. Borealis scored a 73 and 75 in First level tests 1 and 3. Super first outing for 2014!! Thanks everyone for your continued support and patience!

Our first horse show of 2014 is going well. Borealis, owned by DeDe Elmore, scored a 71 and 75 his first time out at First level. I think the 75 was high score for the day!! Fingers crossed tomorrow goes as well :)

Results from Labor's Reward Show at Highfields, Aiken, SC
24-25 Aug
Borialis - T2 - 75.89% and 77.9%, T3 - 76.8% and 69%

Legacy Gold - 2nd3 - 76.67% and 71%, 3rd3 - 65.89% and 77.8%

It was a great weekend, many personal bests for us all. I think we're ready for Region 3 Championships in October!!

Results for Saturday at the MayDay Dressage competition at Highfields, Aiken:

Legacy Gold - FEI 6 yo Test, 6.9, First place
Legacy Gold - 2-3, 67%, First place

Borialis - T-2, 70%, Second place
Borialis - T-3, 74%, First place

Laura Plyler got an awesome 69% in T-2 and rode her first First level test ever!! Congrats

Both Lacy and Bori were troopers. Lacy is getting very business-like about the whole thing, just another day at the office for her highness :) And Bori, while a bit overwhelmed, really was fabulous considering this is his first show!!

Tomorrow should be interesting :)
