Turned a wood k**b on the lathe and carved it to replace a missing one. It was a rosette. Customer said this was from a 1790s cabinet!

New blog and some paintings that I've done

Color is very important in furniture repair. I have to deal with many different wood shades, and when a damage occurs I have to repair the area, and make sure to blend it out so that it is not noticeable. Most of the time I can do this on location. After touching up so many pieces of furnit

Repaired a few damages at Kennesaw State University today. Worked in the President's office. Repair to veneer damage on a desk and a couple doors that were scratched. Go Owls!
