Toby J's LLC Toby J’s Art is a family owned-and-operated slab furniture, chainsaw sculpture Gallery. The shop consists of Toby Johnson, his wife Dawn.

Their establishment has grown to be known not only for the talent that Toby has been blessed with but also for the custom log furniture, sustainable wood products & chainsaw sculptures they produce. All wood used in our furniture is kiln dried to ensure their structural integrity as well as the natural beauty in the wood. Our skip peeled furniture is made with logs that are hand peeled using a dra

w knife to remove the bark. After the furniture is built each piece is sealed with a sealer, and finally a water based varnish is applied to preserve the natural beauty of the wood. Toby J’s Art offers a full line of sustainable wood products. We obtain logs that have been removed locally, they are slabbed and then the slabs sit and cure for 2 to 3 years, after which time they are kiln dried. Finally the slabs are ready to be used to build our beautiful "Sustainable" wood products. Our log furniture is made from many different kinds of wood. Lodge Pole Pine,Alder, Juniper, Redwood, Black Walnut Myrtle, and Maples. We use reclaimed lumber and trees that have been harvested due to land management and urban tree removal and turn them into beautiful works of art.
