We are seeking a skilled CabinetVision Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our commitment to excellence in design and production.
Job Summary
The CabinetVision Engineer will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing cabinetry designs using CabinetVision software. This role involves collaborating with design, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate and efficient project ex*****on from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop detailed cabinetry designs and shop drawings using CabinetVision software.
· Create and maintain accurate material lists, cut lists, and CNC machine outputs.
· Collaborate with project managers and designers to ensure designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
· Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and quality.
· Troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues related to CabinetVision outputs.
· Maintain and update CabinetVision libraries, including materials, components, and assemblies.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
· Provide technical support and training to production staff on CabinetVision-related processes.
Qualifications
· Required:
o Proficiency in CabinetVision software (minimum 2 years of experience).
o Strong understanding of cabinetry design, construction, and manufacturing processes.
o Experience generating shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC programming.
o Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
o Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
· Preferred:
o Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial design, or a related field.
o Experience with additional CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
o Knowledge of woodworking machinery and CNC operations.
o Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
