We had perfect weather this season for the Fourth Friday Festivals! Great music, food, and vendors too!
All the work that went into making these festivals happen was done pretty much by a committee of 3 dedicated, hardworking people! We worked together to bring a free, fun, family focused event for all to enjoy for several years. 2 of our members are stepping down due to other demands on our time, and time constraints.
We would hope to see this annual event continue under new membership, new ideas, new faces and energy! If anyone is interested in making sure this event continues, please grab people you know and make it happen!
We are more than happy to share all our information, contacts, expertise, and ideas - many we were not able to do because we lacked volunteers. We are fortunate to have had the support of the DVC, the ACC, Athol police department, Athol DPW, Athol fire department, ADN Greg Vine, and Main Street businesses. Kids were always a priority in our planning….. maybe you and your kids enjoyed a festival or two?!
