This summer we will finish up this updated traditional home for the best clients. It has such a classic feel. All the finishes are stunning. This house will never go out of style. Next up wallpaper then window treatments. We are going to be sad to wrap this one up. We have loved every single minute with this project and these clients.

I look at our formal room and I think about how I started the design of this room. I knew the layout I wanted. Two sofas flanking the fireplace. I knew I wanted curved sofas and light hues. I needed the black arched cabinet for height and strength, some found pieces like my garden bust to add character and interest. The marble coffee table had to be an exact fit and shape. I color drenched the room in one of my favorite paint colors, Piedmont. It’s collected and contemporary. I’ve never incorporated pastel shades into my own spaces before but this room holds them well. There’s more I want to do in this space. More layers. More art. I never give up a room and let it settle. I like the process, the plan, the implementation. I like the play.
