A piece of lumber will tell sometimes you what it wants to become. This naturally modified (or disfigured), depending on your view, piece of black walnut said clock on one end and a charcuterie board on the opposite end. What is the center of the piece of wood saying to you? (This is where you make a suggestion by commenting on this post.)
The live edge charcuterie board is 11 inches at the widest point and 23 inches in length. The polished chrome handles provide a nice contrast and increase functionality. Walnut burl is always classic and suggest the design.
The clock is 11 by 15 inches and protrudes about 2 inches from the wall. The natural cavity that hides the clock stem runs through the thickness of the board. The clock mechanism is a battery-powered quartz movement.
