Desk. Oak. 27-1/2”H x 18”W x 14”D
Chair. Oak. 25”H x 14”H to seat.

Label reads “Eastman Line Children's Furniture” Suggested manufacture1930s. Made in Pennsylvania.

* Restored/refinished w many structural repairs, rebuilt tambour door and corrected chair warpage, etc. etc etc. Desk disassembled and reglued. Belonged to customer’s Father. Now off to a grandchild in Portland.

OAK CHAIRS - 4 set.
Press cane replaced with new.
We also ALWAYS make any repairs and reglue ALL stretchers. Then finish the chairs (2 coats of shellac here) and add nylon leg tips.

The customer has had these for 45 years. When returned, we want them to last at least that long again.

PORCH LIGHT - Exterior.
1923 original Cast housing with beautiful tear glass bulb housing
Knappa, Oregon historic home

Prep and clean for painting.
Stripped paint. Chemicals + abrasive required. Paint dark brass color per customer choice. Primer + 2 coats + exterior seal coat.

Clean glass.
Rebulld neck (see pic). Neck that joins to housing was fully rusted through (and structurally inadequate). Stainless steel strips cut to fit to remake a collar. Epoxy then used to form new shape. Difficult and frustrating. 🙄
Refit to fixture.

Rewire. Old fashioned socket and test.

100 yrs +
Rebuilt topside. Add “Fatboy” pull chain sockets with new insulators. Dissassemble and re-assembly. Tighten and repair.

Rewire with twisted cloth wire and old fashioned plug Spray satin lacquer on body. Test.

Chinook WA. Late 1800s home.

Restored/Rewired. Project included other lights but this one is unique. Never been rewired. Everything about it is old. 100+ years old for certain

Dissassembled. Repairs and refit to structure. Lacquer spray. New electrics. Tested, ready for install.

We bring out the luster with a proprietary use of low toxic solvents. Spray with satin lacquer to seal
NOTE: We do NOT polish - which ruins the patina.

All electrics are replaced with new. We have an extensive inventory of both new and old parts (sockets, shells, etc). Always fully tested before delivery.

Cleaned and color changed with 2 colors - spray with dark brass paint, overspray with black to give an historic/aged appearance. Replace all elect parts and rewire. Candle covers painted Ivory gloss. Test and deliver.
