Splinters & Planks Splinters & Planks makes custom furniture and home décor for the purpose of providing transitional work to those struggling.

This is a workforce development program where we partner with local businesses to produce a strong workforce. We believe it’s important to provide as many pathways towards re-employment for those with a poor work history or those in need of a second chance to learn a strong work ethic. At Splinters & Planks, it is our mission to provide jobs while transforming lives. A new initiative enables us to

fulfill our mission through our pallet furniture micro-enterprise. Through the use of pallets generously provided by Bookmasters, NovaTech and other local companies, we're able to teach individuals the basic skills necessary to build and sell unique, custom-made furniture that will become centerpieces in individual homes or workplaces. Most importantly, your purchase is further investing into the gospel-focused work of Transformation Network (our parent organization) - 50% of the revenue is directed towards our local Lifewise Academy (providing resources to share the gospel in our public schools) and the other 50% of the revenue further supports the Transformation House (transitional housing for those needing assistance regaining stability in their life).
