It’s been over a year since our last post, and have brought in any new clients. Many people have reached out wanting the services I provide, but I had to shift life, focus and reprioritize. Having said all that, I am looking at opening the doors once again, at a limited capacity! As I’m nearing our reopening, some services that we once carried may not be available. I’m reorganizing the business model to better suit the needs of customers and my family. I look forward to working with you all once again soon!!

We’re hiring!! We are currently looking for an a highly motivated, quick learning individual who is willing to jump in and be a part of our team. This is an entry level position which will consist of mostly sanding and stripping furniture and other tasks as assigned. As a small town, family owned business, we are always honored work with local businesses in our community and most recently we were honored to partner with the Cheatham County Sheriffs Department to build a podium for their new office space.

Made of walnut and hard maple, this podium features adjustable interior shelving, a barrister door, electrical outlets, a digital control cooling fan, and a custom made logo to make it stand out above the rest.

It was a pleasure working with such an amazing group of men!

It’s Super Bowl Sunday!!! Here’s a sneak peek into one of our custom builds we’ve been working on with Super Bowl champion, former Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans player Chris Hope. Chris reached out to us with a loose idea and a dream to turn this room in his house into a place here he could display all of football memorabilia and accomplishments from High School, College, and his NFL career. After several draw ups, we were able to bring his vision to life!
Stay tuned for the grand finale when we add the custom glass cases, more jerseys, and the finishing touches!

This custom built closet comes with plenty of drawer space, adjustable shelving AND pull out shelving on the bottom for shoes!!! Yes ladies the shoe shelves are adjustable and they pull out for easy access!! Who doesn’t need that!!!

This beautiful liquor cabinet was brought back from Germany after the owner was stationed there. He wanted it restored into a piece he could proudly display in his home in Clarksville TN.
We were so proud to bring out that natural wood grain and transform this piece of history for him.

This beautiful piece was brought to us in hopes that we could restore it. It had been in the family for years and the couple was told this piece was a lost cause, that if was just a painted front and it wasn’t worth anything.
In true Southern Woodworks fashion, we were happy to accept the challenge! What we uncovered was that this piece was made of beautiful brown mahogany veneer!
The stain they originally picked out was no longer needed and we were able to bring this piece back to life with just Satin Finish.

With so many people working from home these days and so many of us juggling virtual learning with our children, we’ve realized that having the space to do so is essential!
We were able to turn this little space into a fully functional home office, complete with custom made adjustable shelving, handmade soft closing drawers, and a beautiful maple desk top.
