Accuchrome LLC Founded in 1986 by Jim Sides, Accuchrome designs & fabricates quality molds for plastic injection. R More than likely it was formed by plastic injection molding.

Have you ever looked at something made of plastic and wondered how it was made? Accuchrome designs, builds and repairs those molds. Have you ever used a Cover Girl compact? Pampers baby wipes? Coat hangers from Wal-Mart? McFlurry spoons? Those are only a few examples of the molds that were built here at Accuchrome. Not many people stop to think how something is made, but we are the starting point

for a lot of those every day items you use and rely on. Quality over quantity is what we believe in. Molds that were designed and fabricated at Accuchrome over 15 years ago are still in production today. With our knowledge and high standard levels, we fabricate some of the best plastic injection molds world wide. We not only design and fabricate molds, but we repair them also. From maintenance, to repairs we specialize in finding the problem that may not be clear to others and fix it so to keep down costs for our customers and keep production running smoothly. Repairs can be made to any mold or insert, not just our own. Laser welding is very cost efficient, when there is a small blemish or when the amount of heat is delicate to a thin or high polished surface. Life isn't fair sometimes

We are heart broken to announce that another member of our work family has passed recently.

Joey was intelligent, genuine, kind, and a dedicated employee, husband, father and former service member to the US Air Force.
They don't make them like they use to. 😞

Joey came to work at Accuchrome after finishing his tour from Desert Storm, in which he became ingrained into our work family. He, Jim and other coworkers ventured to Canada and other adventures outside of work where the bond between employee and employer blurred into a respected friendship. After 20+ years of dedication, he retired last summer to spend time with his family.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as the world is a little dimmer without him.

Since we couldn't have a Christmas party this year, lunch was provided to our employees in house today.

As a service project this year, we chose the men's shelter here in Asheboro. They house 32 men daily and supply 3 meals a day.

Please remember those less fortunate during this time of the year as well as the rest of the year. They always need socks, warm jackets, blankets, pillows and toiletries. They also need items for their pantry.

We at Accuchrome want to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving! We had our annual Thanksgiving Lunch today and like always, the food and fellowship with our fellow co-workers couldn't be beat!

We even had a former co-worker drop in who had recently been in the hospital. We want to wish Sam a speedy recovery and we are grateful for the memories and laughs he shared with us today.
