When it comes to home renovations, dealing with a 100 year old homes can pose some unique challenges. Our goal was to preserve the charm, character and historic or even unique architectural elements that newer properties simply don’t have. We updated the layout and the function of this old beauty in Arlington Heights. The table was replaced with a peninsula that not only provided storage, extra counter but also seating...the ultimate trifecta! Beautiful off white Plato Woodwork, Inc. cabinets and brass accents really fit the mid century modern style that the home already had.

Unbelievable first floor renovation in Palatine. The client wanted the popular open concept. We removed all of the interior walls between the kitchen, dining room and living room areas. By combining the spaces into one large space it tricks the eye into thinking you added on more square footage to the home but really you just improved the flow. This home baker had a vision for a custom baking center to hold all of her special tools. Plato Woodwork, Inc. helped us design the perfect piece all from an inspiration photo provided by the client. Ship lap backsplash to help finish off this farmhouse modern design.

Beautiful Remodel in Des Plaines where no walls were removed or relocated but the functionality was dramatically improved. We closed up the secondary entrance into the master bathroom from the kitchen allowing for more cabinetry to be added. A buffet was set under the windows to be the star of all the family gatherings. Plato Woodwork, Inc. with Cambria Countertops add the freshness and brightness this space needed!
