Some incorporate handcrafted natural wood, cold cast bronze and pewter castings, while others use leather, textile and lighting features for dramatic appeal. Ahlborn has been a student of nature his entire life. His family has been a fixture in the northwoods for several generations. Inspiration is all around in the lake and forest rich region. His classic style, rich patinas along with functional features are a hallmark to his art and furnishings.
