Good Neighbor Place is a non-profit Thrift Store whose proceeds go back towards the community. We receive numerous donations from people who live in the city of Apopka that we either sell in our store or use to help the homeless in Apopka. We are located within a stone's throw of Kit Land Nelson Park on the east side of South Park Avenue, sandwiched between a church and a doctor's office. Every we

It is with great sadness that we need to let everyone know that the Good Neighbor Place Thrift Store had a devastating fire on May 21, 2025! As of now we are not accepting donations of anything as we have no place to store items. We ask for your prayers as we navigate through this difficult time. We will post any updates on this page. Thank you for your patronage. We pray that we will be able to continue our mission of helping the unsheltered and low income families in Apopka in the near future.

Good Neighbor Place Thrift Store is only open on Sundays from 12-3 and Wednesdays from 10 - 6. On Mondays we are open from 10-2 for donations. Please drop off your donations only on the days we are open. We have 2 drop boxes where you can donate clothing or linens any day. Thanks so much for your donations. All proceeds help to feed and clothe the homeless and supplement the low income families in the city of Apopka.
