Before and after on my own project in our new home. We originally thought we’d hire a company to come in and redo the entire fireplace, but it’s me, so of course I said “let me try something first”. Well that “something first” cost me nothing but time and the materials I already had on hand. We just saved ourselves a TON of money😊

Throwing an idea 💡 out to y’all.... Because of where we currently live, I do not have space to take projects on at my home. However, I would be willing to travel to refinish your pieces if you have the space. I’m trying to get creative here so I would appreciate your feedback on this possibility:) Thank you!

Started on one of our own projects today! Although I prefer to work outdoors, this piece is wayyyyyy to heavy to move anywhere but where she currently sits. She’s solid, baby💪. We’re in the “ugly phase” as I like to call it. The phase I never like to show clients🙈. It’s the “just trust me” phase! You’ll see..... There is specific technique when refinishing furniture with milk paint, and if you try to paint like it like you would latex, you’ll have wasted all your time.

Our amazing and talented friends from Farmstead Custom Furniture built us this beautiful table and benches. I just finished them and love the way it turned out ❤️. Getting back into the swing of things slowly, with my own pieces;). I LOVE working on my own pieces so I can try new techniques without the pressure.
