We are a small, veteran owned woodworking business that primarily uses old fashioned hand tools.

After an absolutely great Friday and Saturday at , we arrived home and 45 minutes later were involved in fighting an electrical fire in the shop. Luckily everyone is ok and it was just material damage. It damaged about a 1/3 of the shop. But after being assessed by the fire and insurance teams, the shop has to be gutted to the studsdue the fire and smoke damage. What this means is we will be down work wise and probably a little sanity as well for around a month, hopefully not much longer than that though.

For those of you who have orders in, I believe I've contacted you all with this update. If I have missed anyone, please reach out and we'll get everything settled and right.

Thanks to the county fire and EMT teams for a fast response. Now it's my trade brethren time to shine and get us all back to work..

Couple of bowls I turned a while back that didn't get posted. The spalted maple bowl is just under 1/8" thick.

Had a great couple of days hanging out .brothers with .planes and John Davis . Also got to catch up with yesterday on a beautiful day. More to come on that conversation in the near future.

Ambrosia maple bowl. Finished with 10 coats of 1/2lb cut shellac, polished with our paste wax.
This lovely piece of maple was picked up .brothers about 3 weeks ago, absolutely beautiful piece of material, nice striping and slight hues of orange.

Wax day, Couple dozen knocked out, a shipment dropped off at and a few more headed out to a couple craft shops. On the plus side, my hands are nice and soft, ha. The picture of the walnut piece has one coat of the wax, it repels nicely and any water marks simply buff out. The website will have inventory posted as well., so check itnout

A beautiful dovetail saw with a sycamore handle from Dennis Wayne Woodshop. Absolutely gorgeous clean cutting too!

With bad weather expected in the next few days, this arrived from just in time. Now to just build a fire and kick back with some good reading material.

Something small just to get a bit of shop time.

Osage spatula coated with washed linseed oil and finished with our food safe furniture paste wax. Which you find at the Washington DC Woodcraft store now. Stop by and grab a can or two and let me know what you think of our product.
