It’s an amazing feeling seeing a raw slab of wood become something so warm and elegant. When someone invites you to execute the centerpiece of their newly remodeled kitchen, it fills the heart - and it’s honestly the most rewarding part of this hobby. Thank you, John and Richel, for letting me play a part in a totally amazing kitchen remodel!

When flattening a slab, you better make sure what you’re using is 100% flat! Flattening/assembly table got an upgrade! I created a monster MDF torsion box based on a friendly recommendation and added t-tracks to hold the rails and workpiece, and a sacrificial hardboard top that can be easily replaced if damaged. Still standing strong on the which has proven to be an absolute beast 💪. Swipe to see the original setup and let me know if you can see the photobomb...🙃
