Dear customers and consignors. As you may know we had to close our Anderson store and are working on finding another place to relocate to. We won! A few days ago, we had our appeal heard on the citations and abatement issues that the City cited us for, and the Hearing Officer agreed with us ruling that the owner, not us, is responsible to fix the problems with the building. Unfortunately, we decided that Anderson is just not a business friendly city, so we decided to leave this location. As a reminder, customers are not allowed inside the building. Consignors can pickup their items, or they will be transferred. All of our items will still be available online for delivery or Will Call. Just call us and we will do our best to help. We anticipate being completely out by the 17th. Let the City know your thoughts on their actions. Remember that "We the People" have the power to vote and to remove elected officials.

$2600 citation by the Anderson Building Department and Fire Department only 2 weeks after they granted us a business license. This is how the City of Anderson treats new businesses that come to their City. They grant the business license. tell you to move in, get things ready, and to call them when you're ready for inspection so they can tell you what else needs to be done. Sounds good, right? No, not at all. Just days after you move in and start cleaning the place and getting it ready, they send their dogs to cite you for petty issues, codes that they know are wrong or don't apply, and they don't give you a chance to correct it. It's a fine immediately. What does the public think about this? Do we have good people in office? Seriously, we need to get these people fired! Drain the Anderson swamp! Temporary closure of Anderson Store. Dear friends, customers, and consignors of Amazing Finds: After 3 months of fighting with the Anderson Building Department and Fire Department, we finally got our business license a few weeks ago, only for them to come back and shut us down for what we believe are false and absurd charges. Now that they chose to make these allegations public, we will make our fight public as well and ask that you call Mr. Dave Durrette, Head of the Building Department at 378-6636, Steve Lowe Fire Chief at 378-6699, and Jeff Kiser, City Manager 378-6646 and tell them to stop this harassment and dismiss the individuals involved.
