THE CLOSING OF A LEGACY
Scroll through real estate listings and everything starts to look the same — white sofas, beige rugs, pale wood. Personality erased.
For 63 years, Peterson’s Furniture Shop in Andalusia has stood as the opposite of that.
Layered. Ornate. Rusted. Beautifully imperfect. Three buildings full of history, craftsmanship, chandeliers, antique chairs, architectural salvage, vintage signage, mantels, lanterns, and treasures still being uncovered daily.
Now, after selling the River Falls Street property, a storewide liquidation is underway. Prices are 50–75% off with deeper discounts planned through June 2026.
This isn’t just a sale. It’s the closing of a legacy.

Dinner waiting for Eugene. I’m headed to see Clayton. Fresh pole beans and new potatoes (I got from Maples)cubed pork chops with onions and cream of chicken gravy. All the fruit in the salad came from a can. Still good
