The Kimball Street Warming Center run by Catholic Charities is open for the season from November 15th 2024 to April 15th 2025. It is located at 1 Kimball Street in Amsterdam, NY and hours run from 5pm to 7:30am the next day.
Offering:
• 10 beds
• Quick hot meals
• Washer and dryer for use
• Shower with available soap and towels
No guests please beyond 10pm for check in and no more than 2 bags of personal items. The Warming Center is available to adults 18yrs+ and no pets are allowed. Guests accepted on a first come first serve basis. Call 518-842-4202 ext. 3114 for more information.

Continuous Recruitment Open Competitive Exam For: Key Board Specialist Exam #20241

Date of Examination: This exam will be given periodically on a Saturday at City Hall. Candidates with approved applications for this exam will be notified by mail of the next scheduled exam date and exam location. ***Applications Accepted Continuously***

Vacancies/Eligible Lists: A single eligible list will be established because of this examination and will be used to fill vacancies as they occur within the Greater Amsterdam School District & the City of Amsterdam. Successful candidates will have their names placed on the eligible list in order of final scores, regardless of the date on which they took the examination. A successful candidate’s name will remain in effect for (2) two years from the date he/she appears on the list.
