Cabbies Woodshop Mesquite cutting boards, cheese boards; slab wood live edge tables, stools; treasure boxes. All use reclaimed or salvage wood. All are hand made.

I specialize in creating "useful beauty, from our hands to yours". The woods we use are all locally sourced, reclaimed and salvage wood. The mesquite used is from the Mojave desert and comes from downed or salvaged trees. Our cutting boards and cheese/charcuterie boards are all handmade, and are finished with USP mineral oil for food safety and stability. Each board is unique, its' design dictated

by the wood piece itself. All include one or more live edges to enhance the character of the piece. Each board is shipped with a sample of Cabbies Board Butter to help maintain the board, along with complete care instructions. Our coffee tables, end tables, occasional tables and stools are created from slab woods including silver maple, black acacia, elm, oak, deodar cedar, mesquite and others as they come available due to local cutting and removal activities. All tables feature live edges on at least two sides and use either steel or wood leg assemblies in several styles. Table finishes include hand-rubbbed oil, urethane, or spar varnish.
